Incident Debriefing September 30 2002, 08:09 pm
Just got back from Foohey's place (a nice setup, if I may add) and took a general inventory of damages on Enigma One. Walked away from it with good and bad feelings, all of which will be resolved soon.

A quick list of damaged parts that requires replacing:

Fuel tank, radiator, front fender, headlight mount, headlight trim, both rear view mirrors (Kyle is giving me his set), and indicator shell.

Parts that can be repaired without replacement:

Right turn signal, gear shift lever, forkstop, headlight frame, clutch lever, and rear hand grip.

Spent about 30 minutes going over the damages with Foohey, with him making suggestions on how to go about making Enigma One ride-worthy with minimum cost. So far the consensus is to order the necessary parts from the dealership, and then making the repairs ourselves (including Kyle if need be). At first I was skeptical about this path, but after going through each component with him, I see the possibilities. The only thing we won't be able to do is repair the forkstop, which is something we will have to take up to a machine shop to weld onto the fork.

After all is said and done, I'd have to admit that I got off light from the accident. My collarbone is well on its way to full recovery. The bike, while looking pitiful, could have been in a less favorable condition.

That said, I hereby vow that Enigma One will rise again to assist me in smiting evil where ever it might appear and ensure that all that is good shall not be harmed.

Now. . . to fix up dinner. . . can't smite evil on an empty stomach, you know?

Sunny Sunday September 29 2002, 03:21 pm
That Iron Dragon game lasted over four hours. Almost as bad as Risk 2210AD. But it wasn't that hard to learn.

Called up Foohey hoping to set up a time to take a look at bike, but nobody answered. Guess I'll try again later.

Modifications to the 2nd DDR pad has been completed. Now to try a full deployment at Taylor-Max. . .

Now off I go to see if I can offload of a couple of unneeded PS2 games. . . and maybe get a good book in return.

Zzzz. . . September 28 2002, 04:21 pm
Lazy day today. Did not want to wake up this morning, and did not want to get out of bed. But woke up and got up anyways. Blehhh. . .

Quincy VII is on the fritz again. Got some new IDE drive cables with which I'm hoping will fix the problem. Time will tell.

Just got invited over to play a game of Iron Dragon. Its a board game I have never heard of, but I figured I'll give it a shot. Besides, it gives me an excuse to go outside and grab a cup of coconut bubble tea (extra sweet) from Momoko's. :)

BLARG!!! September 27 2002, 04:58 pm
Owww. . . damaged shoulder is now throbbing. That's what I get for trying to clean up OC3 after Evil Twin's departure. All in all we had a pleasant time, at each other's expense of course.

But at least OC3 is now tidied up. My wardrobe has finally been adjusted to reflect certain changes, and minor modifications have been implemented to various decorations.

Otherwise, I spent the beginning of the day working on my ultra-mega-top-secret project, code named "Zanzibar". If everything goes well, my plans for world domination will soon bear fruit. *muwahahaha*. . .

DDR Update September 26 2002, 12:33 am
So the modifications I made to the DDR pads worked quite well during field testing. I had a few "expert" DDRers do a few practice runs on the prototype, and they agreed that it performed better than unmodified units. The only problem is adapting to the incredibly big screens that we have available, as this may cause neck problems during prolonged exposure. Further research on this is required, but at the moment I am going ahead and making the modifications for the second pad.

Voyage Home September 25 2002, 06:04 pm
After a slight delay, I managed to make my way back to OC3. My original plan was to be back by Sunday evening, but I was informed that my new portable communications suite was due to arrive on Monday. So I waited until Monday, but still it did not arrive. So I succumbed and waited until Tuesday for its expected delivery. It was delivered, albeit later than I would've liked.

Rather than risking another trip on the bumpy Assault Transport, I had my evil twin take a small vacation so that I can get a ride home. This was not done totally in self-interest, as he had to swing by the Georgetown FD to see the possibility of signing up with them.

I'm currently modifying the DDR pads for improved stability, and so far the prototype looks good. There's going to be a test run later tonight after the ACM Officer's meeting, so we'll see how that goes.

Calima was quite distressed at my extended away time, so she promptly tore up the place. I've managed to repair most of the damages, and I hope to keep things clean that way.

On the trip back to OC3, Evil Twin decided to have a fun conversation with an acquaintence of his in Florida. Somewhere along the conversation she invited me to go down there for Fright Night at Disneyland in late September. If my schedule allows, I might just take her up on that.

Anshin decided to move back the beginning date of the classes by a week, while retracting their intent to hold my tuition until class starts. While this doesn't exactly put me at ease, I did get definite information on where the classes are going to be held. I'm going to verify that information independently before I decide on my next move.

Day 21. . . . . . . . . September 21 2002, 03:10 pm
The trip back from OC3 to CC was rather rough yesterday on the Assault Transport. Collarbone was thoroughly jarred from all the bumps and dips on I35 and SH75. Guess that just added a couple of more days in my recuperation plan. I shudder at the thought of a return trip home.

For some reason I'm beginning to feel depressed. I don't know why, nor do I even have an inkling as to what is causing this. There's no plausible reason that I should be depressed, especially since I finally have a workable plan on what my immediate future is going to be like (compared to a month ago, when all my plans were shattered due to a traumatic event). *sigh*. . . I finally have a career planned out, and based on that career I'll be able to acquire the Bismark, repair Enigma One, finance OC4, and save up for the future. Furthermore I just learned that Evil Twin will be moving down in a couple months (as soon as he is hired by the Georgetown FD), so that should be interesting. Things are finally going smoothly, so why the hell am I depressed???

Day 20: DDR TIME!!! September 20 2002, 03:15 pm
The pads finally came, not through USPS, but through UPS instead. As soon as I confirmed that the pads and the game were functional, there was much joy across the world.

However, the pads were not as solid as I had originally hoped for, but nothing a couple of wooden boards and some duct tape can't fix. Muwahahaha. . .

Unfortunately the broken collarbone is inhibiting my mad DDR skillz significantly, so I may have to wait a few more weeks before I can fully appreciate this new training regimen.

Also decided to post the rough draft I have of the definition of a Paladin. Much work is still required of that piece, but I figured it can't hurt to garner constructive criticism.

Now I shall begin packing for my voyage back to Camelot Command. The assault transport assigned to ferry me home will be dispatched shortly, so I might as well get ready. Calima gets the honor to guard Outpost Command III during my absence (since it will only be for the weekend). I had thought about asking Patricia to watch over her again, but didn't feel comfortable doing so (if confused, read the news from 9/16). *sigh*. . . anyways. . . life goes on, however miserable it may seem. . .

Uneventful Day 19 September 19 2002, 10:06 pm
Absolutely nothing happened today. Okay, maybe not absolutely nothing, as I did some minor research into the history of Paladins. This was done to merely refresh my memory and to set the foundation if the creation of a "What is a Paladin" page to be deployed in the Stuffings section in the near future. Damn that was a long sentence. . .

Preparing to head back to Camelot Command tomorrow, so may or may not be updating over the weekend. We'll see.

And my DDR pads are still not here. Beginning to be REALLY disappointed in the USPS. . .

Day 18 update September 18 2002, 11:56 pm
Decided to work on the auotbio some more, and have a rough draft of Section V out. It could use some more work, but I'm too tired to do so. Besides. . . I really should be packing since I will be returning to Camelot Command in a few days (for the weekend, at least I think only for the weekend. . . hmm. . . must decide what to do about Calima). . .

Day 18 follow-up September 18 2002, 07:37 pm
Turned in my post-dated check to Anshin Corp in preparation for the Linux certification classes. It looks like I'm pretty much committed. But if this all works out, I won't have to sweat about the repair costs for Enigma One, can plan on deploying the Bismark in a timely manner, and finance for the construction of Outpost Command IV, which will be a permanent base of operations in the Austin area. All this based on Anshin Corp pulling through for me. . .

Meanwhile, I shall now enjoy some sushi on campus while waiting for the JO meeting to take place in less than an hour.

Doc's Report, Day 18 September 18 2002, 12:14 pm
Got back from the doctor's appt without much trouble. The X-Rays look promising, as the gap between the two ends are shortening, and according to the doc the fibrous material connecting the bone is hardening. 4 more weeks before I get a clean bill of health (hopefully). Unfortunately he cannot provide a conclusive diagnosis of why my back is in pain every morning, but suggested that it should pass over time. Mobility wise, I am free to do most tasks, as long as I am not raising my arm up. The sling is now optional, only worn if my shoulder is tired of dragging my free-loading right arm around.

I await the day when I can order cybernetic replacement parts and can simply swap out a damaged piece for a new and improved model. . . *evil grin*

Day 17. . . September 17 2002, 10:41 pm
Not much happened today. Decided to watch "Enemy at the Gates" while eating lunch. Good movie. Just not a movie one would want to watch while eating.

After a quick exchange of emails with the Anshin representative, I decided to go ahead and risk this venture. However, as I got there around 5:15PM (we agreed to meet around 5:00PM), he had already left the building. Guess we'll try again tomorrow.

Swung by Four Hands and picked up a couple of items I had left behind previously. I think that's pretty much it for severing ties.

Spent the rest of the evening helping out at the ACM company night for National Instruments. Munched on free pizza before heading home for the night. Right shoulder muscles began spasming due to exhaustion towards the end, so maybe I shouldn't be walking around without the sling. . .

Doctor's appt in the morning. Guess we'll know whether or not I will be headed to the O.R. soon enough.

Painful Day 16 September 16 2002, 09:01 pm
Not sure why, but for some reason I'm not feeling too hot today. . . woke up with the usual pain in the back, but collarbone was also resonating with some minor problems. Must've been me trying to be heroic and picking up monitors and computers for Patricia yesterday. Stupid me. . . trying to be gentlemanly with a broken collarbone. . . what was I thinking???

So after I have had time to sleep on this matter some what, I am forced to deal with the beginnings of certain feelings for Patricia after I spent the whole day with her yesterday. She's uncannily bright, subtly intelligent, seductively beautiful, plagued with a checkered past, and yet ever so out of reach. Knowing my luck though, I am reading WAY TOO MUCH into this. Besides, I'm on pretty good terms with her ex-BF, and I'm not about to sacrifice one for the other (although I could already be doing that). Matters being as they are, this requires more deliberation, so I will sit here and ponder on this a while more (as if I have anything else to do with my time. . .).

Recon One finally reported back today. Turns out Anshin Corp does have a legit base of operations up in Dallas, so that's a major point of credibility in their favor. I'm sending a email inquiry regarding some minor financial details and I will make a final decision based on that. Here's hoping it all goes well. . .

Stupid broken collarbone. . . and *ow*. . . I think I just tore a shoulder muscle. . . there goes all that emergency-repairs my body put up for the past few weeks. . .

The not quite so infamous Day 15. . . September 16 2002, 12:02 am
An unexpected busy day today. Was going to call Foohey and arrange time to inspect Enigma One, but instead was derailed when Patricia called and asked if I could go with her and shop for a computer. How could I refuse? She did ask nicely. . .

So we hopped over to the mall and checked out the Dell kiosk they had set up, and scanned through Dell's current offerings. The salesperson was enthusiastic, but not incredibly knowledgeable about what he was selling, so I suggested we head over to some of the smaller shops I know of where we could find better prices. A few car trips later, I found her a slightly used Dell Optiplex GX150 (1Ghz/256MB/20GB/DVD-CDRW) with a 17" "flat" CRT for a little over $700. I thought it was a pretty good deal considering we've only shopped around for a day. We then spent the rest of the afternoon prepping the system (I loaded the software and helped her take apart the monitor so she could spray paint it black), had dinner over at the ACM house with Shrew, Ketan, and Long, and wrapped up the night by testing her flat panel speakers. All in all a relatively busy day.

Oh, and somehow during all those activities I managed to score a set of DDR pads (for PSX/PS2) and the DDR Konamix CD (for PSX) for $57. Its DDR time, baby. . .

Two Week Anniversary September 14 2002, 09:43 pm
Spent the day out at the ACM JO retreat, and I guess it was a blast. Met some interesting people, and enjoyed quite a few "spur of the moment" events (waterballoons are quite fun. . .)

Afterwards we spent the rest of the afternoon at Al/Austin/Dan/Chris/Crystal's apt complex's pool (yes, I swam with my damaged collarbone, so shoot me).

I am currently hanging out at the ACM house where we will probably finish up the night with a grueling Settlers of Cataan game.

Nothing to report September 14 2002, 01:29 am
So it turns out I didn't get a chance to look at the bike. Foohey had stuff to do, so we decided to postpone it until Sunday, since I have to attend the ACM JO retreat on Saturday.

Instead, due to popular demand I decided to tackle my writer's block and work on my autobiography some more. This resulted in the modification of one section, and the near-completion of another.

Then Shrew, Ketan, and Long came over and we watched Resident Evil. Mmmm. . . Milla. . . mmm. . . And then Ketan fell in love with the dual-gun setup I have with Time Crisis II on my PS2. All in all not too bad of a day. . . perhaps a little dull, but not too bad. Arm is feeling better, although I still have very little endurance on my right shoulder. . .

Sleepy time. . . busy day Saturday. . .

Friday the 13th. . . September 13 2002, 03:02 pm
No, I'm not going to play on the whole popular media scare, but I just realized the coincidence of dates.

Finally recieved a response from the University's Parking & Transportation Gestapo regarding my appeals, and I'm undecided as to whether I won or lost. The first ticket with the $20 fine was upheld, but the second ticket with the $50 fine was reduced to a warning. So I guess one could say its a tie, but I'm wondering if $20 is worth appealing it again (they insist you pay the fine anyways even if you intend to appeal again). Anybody want to share with me their thoughts on this?

Have not heard back from my scout unit that I sent to recon this Anshin Corp. . . I think I may have to mobilize a SAR team. . . hmm. . . curiouser and curiouser. . .

Arm isn't hurting as bad as it was yesterday. Guess I should start getting ready to go see Enigma One. . . I'll report more later.

Day 12 and still going strong. . . September 12 2002, 10:38 pm
Relatively dull day today. Spent the first part of the day playing around on the computer, and then decided to do some more research into the incoming Advanced Battleship. So far indications are favorable, but I will make the final decision when the ship is completed.

Decided to step outside for the evening and attend the ACM Junior Officers Introduction Meeting. Hung out with the group, and made sure we didn't scare too many prospective JOs out the door. It was definitely a relief from being cooped up in the base all day.

Tomorrow I get to take a look at Enigma One. . . not sure I'm going to like what I see. . .

Day 11. . . at a second glance September 11 2002, 08:13 pm
Did some research, and the whole Anshin deal is starting to smell. Its TOO good to be true, so I started digging around for more company information, and surprise surprise, there isn't any. Did some more digging around the yellow pages and the BBB, and have found very little to no information regarding this company. There are alot of other little things that might not have mattered by itself, makes the whole picture questionable when put together. I'm sending a recon unit out to their supposed Dallas office tomorrow to verify their physical existence. I may be onto something illegitimate here, but I need more evidence.

Just got back from dinner with Jen (Maudie's fajitas are good stuff), where I got a earful about how bad her co-workers were. Suggested that she find a new employement opportunity, but she's adamant that she will prevail. Other than that, we conversed about various things until she had to go home and work on homework.

This whole thing about being the anniversary of the terror that struck America still bugs me. Too much self-righteousness and pride and not enough self-criticism and reasoning. Its a recipe for disaster. Criminal investigations usually try to find motive and means. The means were obvious. But I truly believe the investigators did a shoddy job in revealing the motive. There is a lot more there than meets the eye.

I'm not saying what they did was right. I'm saying the need to discover why far outweighs the need for bloody vengeance. . .

First look. . . Day 11 September 11 2002, 12:20 pm
Just got back from an interesting outing. . .

Interview went fairly smoothly. It was a group interview consisting of one interviewer and three interviewees, except there wasn't much interviewing going on. Basically, the company itself is based in Dallas, but is currently expanding, thus causing the opening of a Austin-based branch office. But in order for the buisness to be profitable, they need several technically-inclined people to fill the human resources pool. That's where we come in. The only stipulation they had regarding the hiring process is that we are able to complete, or have already completed, a Level One Sair Linux Certification (Linux Certified Administrator). There are two ways to go about doing this: take the class and then the exams ($3150), or study at home and take the exams ($600 for the exams and $160 for the text). Upon reciept of certification and after 90 days of employment, they refund you the costs of tuition ($3150 or $600, depending on route you chose), and life goes on. The catch is those who sign up for the class are guaranteed via a written contract for one of the 25-30 vacancies. This being the only requirement they had, it does not seem like such a bad deal to me. . . although I'm doing some research into this to determine the future benefits/costs. . .

After the interview, I headed to Four Hands to formally turn in my two-week's notice. Apparently the only reason I haven't heard back from the owners of the company is because they're out of the country and indisposed. As much as I would like to wait for a response from them before I move on, my life is not their's to put aside and sit quietly. Life goes on, people move on. Besides, there are way too many new faces (replacing the "good" old ones, not because the company is expanding) for me to be comfortable. And unfortunately enough of the "bad" old faces are still there to make me even more uncomfortable. Oh well.

Now. . . what to do about this $42k/year opportunity. . . decisions decisions. . .

Oh yeah, and my back still hurts. . .

Addendum, Day 10 September 10 2002, 11:22 pm
Just got a call from Camelot Command. Apparently my diploma was finally delivered, and there was much joy across the land. I then spent the next 30 minutes on the phone with parents deciding on the perfect diploma frame, which costed me about $115. Dad was suggesting something bigger, but I told him to wait until I get my MBA. Which even though might be a while, its part of my long term plans to take over the world. . . *evil laughter*

Now off to bed. Big day tomorrow. . .

Day 10. . . I think. . . September 10 2002, 07:26 pm
Now comes the long and painful process of full recuperation. All the emergency repairs that my body can do, it has done for the last week or so. The bone is more or less rigid, but it is still in an awkward position. The pain in my back wakes me up every morning, and I may need to have a doctor take a look at it. Otherwise I'm still alive, I think. . .

Went ahead and added a new script to the site. It is a picture gallery script, meant to assist in dynamic generation of web pages for viewing pictures. I think it works alright, even though I had to go back and generate thumbnails for all those photos and rewrite some of the captions. Let me know if it was worth the effort. Loading times may be a bit more now in the pictures section due to numerous thumbnails.

Interview in less than 14 hours. . . got my resume and clothes ready. . . I just hope I'm ready for it. . .

Posted by: Paladin

On the 9th day. . . September 10 2002, 12:24 am
Regained about 60-70% mobility so far. . . although I still can't put too much weight on the arm. There's still a piece of bone sticking out of my shoulder, but I'm hoping that will dissolve away over time. For some reason my back hurts like hell every morning though, and I will need to resolve relatively soon. Other than that, the arm is unofficially out of the sling, and well on the way to recovery.

Got a preliminary damage report from Foohey (where Enigma One is currently stored), and it doesn't sound too good. There is quite a bit of component damage that will need to be worked on, and apparently there was some minor structural damage after all. I'm arranging a time later this week to go over there and take a look for myself.

Also decided to answer a classified ad in today for the position of a Network Administrator with a starting salary of $42k. Apparently there were alot of respondants, so its going to be competitive. Joys of wondrous joys. . .

Posted by: Paladin

Day 8 and counting. . . September 8 2002, 08:59 pm
I can move around alot more now while not wearing the arm sling, but it still hurts if I move it too much. Guess I might be expecting a little too much too soon. But hey. . . if I'm going to have to live with a high metabolism, I am justified in expecting a fast recovery rate.

The expedition from Camelot Command arrived safely back home a few minutes ago. Got a confirmation from them via hypercom right before I posted this. They were trying their darnest to impose a recall order, and was close to succeeding by wooing me with a buisness idea that I had thought up several years back. I'm not biting the hook yet. . .

Decided to jump on a last minute deal to get a label printer for very very cheap ($10 instant rebate, $20 discount, $15 mail in rebate, when the printer itself was only $40). I shall now go and enjoy my new label printer. And yes, Calima will get labeled. *evil laughter*

BTW, I moved August's news into the archive section in the Bios page. I guess starting from now I'll move each month's news to the archives one week after the month ends. Seems like a good idea anyways. . .

Recuperation, One Week Anniversary September 7 2002, 10:34 pm
Its been one week since the accident, and so far so good. I am able to carry the arm around without the use of the sling, but mobility is still very limited.

The expedition from Camelot Command arrived, and resupply operations have commenced. They're still trying to execute a recall order, but I'm still denying them the opportunity to do so.

Finally loaded all the strategic / tactical simulation programs on Quincy VII today, but it seems that there is still some operational instability in the system. It seems that it involves the network card, since everything fails as soon as network connection is lost. Further testing will be required to determine if this is in fact the cause of problems, but it will have to wait until my arm gets better.

I've also decided to begin plans to rebuild Enigma One, so as soon as Monday arrives I will be executing plans to repair Enigma One. Hopefully it won't hurt too much.

(thinking happy thoughts to encourage faster healing of bone)

Posted by: Paladin

Recuperation, Day 6 September 6 2002, 11:18 pm
Same ol' same ol' today. . . except I was able to put a limited amount of weight from my arm on the shoulder. Not too much, but definitely showing signs of improvement I guess. There is still alot of discoloration of skin on the right side of my torso, but I'm hoping that will go away with time. Likewise, the sharp pointy end of bone that has been irritating my skin for the past several days is finally withering away. Hopefully this also means that the bone is straightening itself out somehow. Wishful thinking, I know.

Camelot Command is still trying to recall me, and I'm still fighting tooth and nail to cancel that order. They'll be sending an expedition down here for tomorrow and Sunday, so we'll see how that goes.

Apparently Ryan finally got his motorcycle ('99 Yamaha R6), but its not finalized yet. He better take the rider's course before riding that puppy.

Got an empty email from Jen, so decided to call her instead of relying on a simple reply. Traded a few jabs about my current disabled condition, and agreed to meet sometime next week for coffee or food or all of the above.

Did I mention broken collarbones suck?

Recuperation, Day 5. . . Doc's Report September 5 2002, 06:05 pm
Current biouvacking at the ACM office, after my prolonged visit at the doctor's office. After four X-Rays, it has been determined that my collarbone is a severely messed up position. Basically, the bone is now in a "Z" configuration. . . with two ends of the broken area connected by a fragment of bone. Operating on it was an option, but we decided to let nature run its course and see what happens in four weeks.

The doc was definitely on the nice side. After finding out that I did not have health insurance, and was planning to pay everything out of pocket, he ate the cost of the X-Rays and let me walk out of my first visit for free. Honestly can't really complain, even though I waited for over an hour to see him.

If only I could just replace the whole shoulder with a cybernetic replacement. . . hmm. . . let me give Jen a call. . . *evil grin*

Recuperation, Day 4, and still going. . . September 4 2002, 10:15 pm
Stupid me tried to do too much with the injured arm today, so I may have inadvertantly took a step back in terms of my road to recovery. Was trying to walk around without the sling, but my arm was fighting a losing battle against gravity. The subsequent pain and uncomfortableness should teach me not to try that again anytime soon.

Sore sore sore sore sore. . .

Posted by: Paladin

Recuperation, Day 3 September 3 2002, 10:36 pm
Things are coming along I think. . . shoulder now hurts like hell, but at least I don't feel two broken ends of bone grinding against one another when I move my right arm around. However, the muscles in the entire shoulder region is as hard as a rock, and then some. If only the muscles in my abdomen were as hard. . . sheesh. . . Camelot Command learned of my mishap yesterday, and immediately sent out a dispatch to determine my condition. They also brought along large amounts of foodstuff for me since I'll be incapicitated for the next month. They also tried recalling me back to CC to recuperate, but I'm fighting against that tooth and nail. I may be crippled, but I am not an invalid. So what if I'm stubborn like that?

Scheduled an appointment with the orthopedic doctor for Thursday. Wonder what his disposition is going to be. . . ?

Posted by: Paladin

Recuperation, Day 2. . . September 2 2002, 03:11 pm
Pain. . . lots of pain today. . . that's what I get for staying up late at the ACM house last night. . . Upside of all this is that the bone is definitely mending itself, even though I'd feel better with an orthopedic doctor with an X-Ray backing up my claim.

Finally got a hold of An about the police reports, an apparently all he got was a form with which I could recieve the actual report. Guess I'll do that later since me and the bike are the only injured parties, unless that dead tree I slammed into has a insurance policy that warrants a settlement.

Thanks goes out to the support I've been getting from my friends in my time of need. You know who you are. :)

Recuperation, Day 1 September 1 2002, 05:32 pm
Little change in my condition. I still have very little use for my right arm, but at least the pain in my right shoulder is gone. I am glad to say that I have only used Advil so far for some minor pain relief, and have used none of the stronger stuff that was prescribed to me. Range of motion is still very limited, but I think the bone is mending, since I am meeting some resistance when trying to move the arm in a outward direction. Obviously I can't say for sure unless I see an X-Ray.

Seriously dreading the hospital bills. Current estimates have it up towards $1100-$1200, give or take a few hundred. Have not had a chance to call the insurance company up yet on what my options are because I haven't been able to track down An who is in possession of the police reports. Guess that'll have to wait.

One of these days I'll separate the daily log so it won't be so long and take forever to load up. It might have to wait until my wounds are healed though. . .
