We spent all day Saturday with relatives, and then we did the tourist thing in Santa Monica on Sunday. While I had wanted to head down to the beach, the temperture proved to be a little too chilly, and the sun was playing peek-a-boo behind the clouds. So we ended up strolling along the 4th Street Promenade, and then headed to the Santa Monica Pier and did more touristy things. The food at Mariasol at the far end of the pier was good stuff though, and the prices weren't outrageous either. All in all, it was a good anniversary.
